Amid their separation, Kim Kardashian paid Kanye West a whopping $23 million to keep living in their sprawling Hidden Hills property, sticking close to her celebrity siblings. The reality star decided to stay at the 15,000-square-foot estate near Calabasas instead of selling the home and relocating. She subsequently dropped another $3 million for art and furniture.

Once owned by Lisa Marie Presley, the former couple paid $20 million to purchase the mansion in 2014 and then spent another $20 million on renovations, adding a spa and a complete music studio. Hidden Hills is home to some members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner each bought neighboring mansions in the neighborhood in 2020, and Kylie Jenner also purchased a vacant five-acre land there in 2020 for $15 million.
