Like many celebrities, Selena Gomez began her career at a young age, landing her first acting credit on the kid’s TV show Barney & Friends, followed by her breakthrough role in Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place. Since then, she has become one of the industry’s best-selling music artists. Meanwhile, French Montana’s earlier stints in the music scene were as an independent artist, showcasing his talents through the DVD records he sold. Just like Selena, French has since been making quite a name for himself.
Along the way, their lives indirectly intersected in 2016, when French bought this Hidden Hills estate once owned by Selena. Purchased for $3.3 million, the rapper eventually made a couple of upgrades to the property, including a newly-added recording studio which reportedly cost $400,000. After four years of residency, though, French finally placed this beauty on the market in 2020 for $6.599 million, double the amount he paid for it.
