Nick Offerman | Wood Craftsman

Not long after getting his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Nick Offerman made his way to the acting scene by co-founding the Defiant Theatre, a Chicago-based theater company. After a couple of on-stage stints, he eventually made his way to more on-screen roles. Now most recognized for portraying Ron Swanson in the TV show Parks and Recreation, the actor has since worked on other projects such as Fargo, The Lego Movie, and The Founder.

Besides acting, Offerman also has a passion for other things in life. During his time with Defiant Theatre, the actor also worked as a master carpenter, building sets and props for several productions. With his passion for wood craftsmanship, it’s no surprise the Parks and Recreation star has his very own company called Offerman Woodshop. Along with other enthusiastic woodworkers, Offerman Woodshop sells all kinds of handmade crafts, including spoons, furniture, and even ukuleles.
