Tom Selleck is an actor and producer who rose to fame for his role as Thomas Magnum, a private investigator, in the hit TV series Magnum, P.I. Since 2010, he has also appeared in Blue Bloods, which further catapulted his name in the TV acting arena. Despite the fame that he has accumulated throughout the years of being active in acting, Selleck decided to turn his back away from the limelight and settle in his massive ranch in Ventura, California since 1988.

He ditched the spotlight he has been showered with since his portrayal in Magnum P.I for a quieter and more peaceful life away from the city. Living with his wife Jillie, Selleck loves spending time which his horses, which he has been raising as part of his hobbies inside his property. The actor has said that his relationship with his property keeps him sane. He loves watching things grow and have a retreat every now and then.
