One of Hollywood’s favorite Latina superstars is Sofia Vergara. The Colombian-American actress worked as a model to make ends meet for her and her only son as a single parent before she clinched international success on TV. In 1998, Vergara co-founded the talent agency Latin World Entertainment, which prioritizes Latin talents for the U.S market. From this business, she was able to launch many new ventures.

She got her breakthrough role when she was cast as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in the TV series Modern Family.  After this, Vergara has welcomed so many opportunities for her in the industry and on the business side. She also launched her own clothing line in partnership with Kmart, where she used her own investment money for selling handmade designs of dresses, pants, tops, accessories, and more in vivid colors. The actress is also set to be a producer in the coming years as she tries to reach out to the Argentinean market.
