Everyone knows as a country music icon, a multi-instrumentalist, and an actress, but she is not just for the show business. The 75-year-old personality is a successful businesswoman, too, and with her success, she sure knows where to put her hard-earned investment money. Parton reportedly put a big part of her earnings into different business ventures in her hometown of East Tennessee. She co-owns The Dollywood Company, which runs the theme park Dollywood, formerly known as Silver Dollar City.

In addition to this, Parton also co-owns Sandollar Productions, a film and TV production company behind the hit TV series Buffy and the Vampire Slayer and the movie series Father of the Bride. When her business partner, Sandy Gallin, who is also her former manager, retires, the performer operated Dolly Parton’s Southern Light Productions for a while and announced her new production company’s name as Dixie Pixie Productions in 2015.
