Rob Lowe | TV Actor
Rob Lowe gained celebrity status during the 1980s. At the time, he was considered one of the youngest heartthrobs. Though he started out as a child actor, Lowe became a household name thanks to his debut in The Outsiders, alongside fellow actors Patrick Swayze and Emilio Estevez. He also worked with Estevez in St. Elmo’s Fire, which officially sealed them as members of the Brat Pack. He went on to make more films and won numerous nominations and awards too which proved, to his credit, that he was an actor to watch out for.
Though the actor had personal problems that affected his career, he eventually overcame them and kept his career intact. The actor has since gone back to being a TV actor, with projects like Parks and Recreation and 9-1-1 Lone Star. He also hosts the podcast Literally! With Rob Lowe.
