Portia De Rossi has established a considerable presence in Hollywood by taking on cold, calculating roles and has a dry sense of humor. However, she truly became a household name when she appeared in the sitcom Ally McBeal, but she acted before that. Rossi also appeared in films like Scream 2, Who is Cletis Tout?, Cursed, and Now Add Honey. De Rossi spent most of her acting on TV, so she has become a familiar face already.

De Rossi is also the wife of fellow actress and comedian Ellen De Generes. After getting married, De Rossi took things slow and eventually retired from acting altogether. She did find an outlet through which is her love for the arts. She tied up with Fujifilm to create a 3D technology that one of her investments, General Public, uses to print most of its creations.
