Britney Spears is a pop singer and actress who has become a major figure in mainstream music with her 1999 hit Baby One More Time. She is credited with reviving the music genre of teen pop during the late 1990s. To date, Spears has sold more than 100 million records worldwide. Her world tours have also grossed $500 million.

In 2004, Spears endorsed her first perfume called Curious, which made $100 million in its first year. Subsequently, she launched her other fragrances called Fantasy, Curious in Control, Midnight Fantasy, Believe, and Curious Heart, which allowed her to sell 30 million bottles worldwide. As of 2012, Spears’ fragrance brand had grossed more than $1.5 billion worldwide. The Daily Express newspaper once reported in 2013 that a bottle of the pop star’s fragrance was sold every 15 seconds internationally. As of 2020, Spears has released a total of twenty-eight fragrances.
