Maria Sharapova | Businesswoman

Maria Sharapova has shown great promise on the competitive circuit. She turned pro at the age of 14 but continued to compete among her peers, placing second in the junior Wimbledon and French Open competitions in 2002. Maria rose to prominence after winning the 2004 Wimbledon women’s singles title after turning professional as a teenager. With her win at the French Open in 2012, Sharapova became the 10th woman to win a Grand Slam, and she added her second French title and fifth total Grand Slam victory in 2014.

Aside from sports, she has a diverse business portfolio that includes her candy line, Sugarpova. She also threw in some investments in UFC, a sunscreen line, and technology and hospitality collaborations. With all of these under her belt, we cannot help but wonder how she manages to combine all of her business activities while also being a professional tennis player.
