He is involved with the organization Not on Our Watch Project, which helps stop and prevent mass atrocities. The ER star is also an advocate for resolving the Darfur conflict and supports recognizing the Armenian genocide.

In addition, Clooney helps the Syrian refugees, together with his lawyer wife, Amal Clooney. He also donates a whopping $500,000 to March of Our Lives that supports the gun control legislation, and a huge supporter of LGBT rights. Aside from his philanthropic works, Clooney has been one of the United Nations Messenger of Peace since 2008 and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Indeed, Amal is proud of what her husband has become.
