Although the entertainment industry can often be sorted into different categories, such as acting and show hosting, most of the celebrities walking under its spotlight have one thing in common: they usually spend some of their investment money on real estate. Well, the same can be said between former Today Show news anchor Matt Lauer and Pretty Woman star Richard Gere, with the former buying the actor’s Hamptons home back in 2016.

Also lovingly known as Strongheart Manor, the property sits on 6.2 acres of land and has plenty of outdoor scenery to go with it. Along with the usual bedrooms, bathrooms, and living room, this gorgeous abode also has other amenities to keep its residents entertained, including a basketball court, a waterfront pool, and even an island-inspired teahouse. It may have been purchased for an astounding price of $36.5 million, but in a way, that’s still quite a purchase for Lauer. After all, Richard originally listed it for $65 million.
